Captain Planet Foundation may offer a free workshop and/or assembly in conjunction with this media event.
I understand that I may be invited to participate in a media event held on my school campus. In addition, CPF may offer a workshop for participating teachers and/or an introductory assembly for a wider school audience.* Attendees will participate in a taste test with representatives from Dole Packaged Foods, the sponsoring retailer, Captain Planet Foundation (CPF), and supporters from your local community. This event will highlight your school’s learning garden and other awesome outdoor learning initiatives. Some winning schools will be asked to participate in a media event and workshop or school assembly, hosted on your campus. I understand I will be asked to submit a Garden Planner before grant materials are released, and I agree to do so. Before we release these materials, we’ll ask your school to submit a simple Garden Planner, a brief template that will help you share your school’s plans for the receipt, storage, and implementation of grant materials.* 
If selected, your school will receive a new garden (or a gift card for expanding your existing garden), a stocked mobile cooking cart, supplies to support teaching PLG lessons, and materials to support gardening and outdoor exploration. Does your school have an Environmental or Green Committee?. Does the school have a science coordinator?. Garden Coordinator's Relationship to School*.
